It only makes sense that HR professionals would look for job opportunities on the job board that represents the crème de la crème in their profession. And that employers seeking the most qualified, involved, and networked individuals in the field of HR would post their opportunities on HR Florida’s job board. Did you know that your SuncoastHR membership also includes a membership to HR Florida? Yes, that’s right; a two for one membership. SuncoastHR has created three interactive Workforce Readiness programs. The intent and purpose is to offer to the local community - to people entering the workforce for the first time, people re-entering the workforce after many years of non-active work, and people who may have been employed by one employer for a very long time and now have to start over.
The three programs include Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills and Dressing for Success, are interactive with handout materials for attendees. The programs are available to active SuncoastHR members who want to present to a local group.

Resume Writing Program
Attendees will learn about: the purpose of a resume; how to create a resume; about different types of resumes; items to avoid when it comes to writing a resume. They will receive samples of different types of resumes (good and bad), actual job posts with an associated resumes fitting the description of each posting, a prep form to work through creating their own resume.
Interviewing Skills Program
Attendees will learn about: the purpose of the Interview; about different types of interviews they may have; learn about the Do’s and Don’ts during an Interview; discuss questions they might expect or those they might want to ask. They will receive Sample prep questions and several articles related to the interviewing process.
Dressing For Success Program
Attendees will learn about: how their dress affects their job search; what not to wear and why; what works bests for interviewing; about other problem areas besides their clothing. Attendees will be interactive about selecting proper and improper interview attire.
